Fraud Prevention & Unauthorized Transaction Policy

Fraud Prevention & Unauthorized Transaction Policy

GFM VIP Inc. — Gifts For Moments

GFM VIP Inc. takes payment security, customer privacy, unauthorized transactions, identity misuse, and fraud prevention seriously.

This policy explains how we may review unusual transactions, verify orders, respond to unauthorized-payment reports, and protect customers, cardholders, businesses, GFM VIP Inc., financial institutions, payment processors, and other parties involved in an order.

A request for verification does not automatically mean that GFM VIP Inc. believes fraud has occurred.

1. If You Do Not Recognize a Charge

If you see a charge that you do not immediately recognize, please review your recent purchases before reporting the transaction as fraudulent.

A legitimate GFM VIP Inc. transaction may relate to a purchase made directly through GFM VIP Inc., through our website, through Shop, through Uber Eats, at a store, fair, event, market, pop-up, or other in-person location, through an invoice or payment request, or for a corporate, custom, concierge, floral, gift-wrapping, or other order.

You should also consider whether an authorized employee, assistant, household member, purchasing representative, or other authorized person may have placed the order.

Customers should review the transaction amount, date, receipt, invoice, order confirmation, email, text messages, and other communications associated with the purchase.

2. Business Name and Statement Recognition

Depending on how and where an order was placed or processed, a transaction, receipt, notification, or payment record may display:

  • GFM VIP Inc.
  • Gifts For Moments.
  • Shop.
  • Uber Eats.
  • An authorized payment processor, financial platform, or commerce provider.

The name displayed by a bank or payment platform may therefore not always appear exactly the same as the name displayed on our website.

Customers should compare the transaction amount, date, order information, invoice, and other available records before determining that a charge is unauthorized.

3. Accidental Fraud Reports

Customers may occasionally forget about a legitimate purchase or mistakenly report their own transaction as unauthorized.

An accidental fraud report does not automatically mean that GFM VIP Inc. considers the customer to have intentionally committed fraud.

If a bank, card issuer, processor, or payment platform informs us that a transaction has been reported as fraudulent or unauthorized, we may place the associated order on hold while the matter is reviewed.

If the customer later confirms that the transaction was authorized, the customer may need to contact their bank, card issuer, processor, or payment platform to correct or withdraw the fraud report before fulfillment can continue.

4. Orders Not Made Under Your Name

For privacy and security reasons, GFM VIP Inc. cannot provide private customer, billing, payment, contact, or full shipping information to a person who cannot reasonably be verified as the purchaser, cardholder, authorized business representative, or another authorized person connected to the transaction.

If you believe your payment information was used for an order but the order or billing information is under another person’s name, GFM VIP Inc. may be limited in what we can disclose.

When appropriate, we may be able to provide limited transaction information, including:

  • What products or services were ordered.
  • The state where the order is being shipped or delivered.
  • The country where the order is being shipped or delivered.
  • The approximate transaction date or amount when needed to help identify the transaction.

We will not provide another customer’s full name, full street address, telephone number, email address, account information, payment information, login information, or other private identifying information simply because someone believes their payment method was used.

If we cannot verify that you are authorized to receive additional information, you will need to contact your bank, card issuer, or payment provider so they can investigate the transaction through the appropriate fraud or dispute process.

GFM VIP Inc. still appreciates being notified about suspected unauthorized activity, even when we cannot disclose full order details.

All suspected unauthorized transactions, payment disputes, chargeback questions, and fraud-related transaction concerns should be directed to:

disputes@gfmvipinc.vip

5. Authorized Business Purchasing

For business, corporate, organizational, and large orders, the person placing an order may not be the company owner or the person whose name appears on the payment card.

Authorized purchasers may include assistants, executive assistants, employees, office managers, procurement or purchasing departments, event planners, managers, department representatives, accountants, authorized card users, or other representatives authorized by the company.

A difference between the company owner, purchaser, cardholder, billing contact, or person communicating with GFM VIP Inc. does not automatically mean fraud has occurred.

GFM VIP Inc. may request reasonable confirmation that the person placing the order is authorized to act for the business.

6. Personal Orders Placed by Another Authorized Person

Personal orders may also be placed by an authorized spouse, family member, household member, assistant, caregiver, or another person authorized by the customer or cardholder.

Before reporting an unfamiliar transaction as fraudulent, cardholders should consider whether another authorized person may have placed the order.

7. Gift Orders

GFM VIP Inc. is a gifting business. The person receiving merchandise may therefore be different from the person who purchased or paid for it.

The recipient’s name, delivery address, telephone number, or other delivery information not matching the purchaser or cardholder does not automatically indicate fraud.

Gift orders may also be sent directly to another person without the recipient having previously interacted with GFM VIP Inc.

8. Multiple Shipping Addresses

Corporate, concierge, event, and gift orders may legitimately be shipped to multiple destinations.

These destinations may include employees, customers, clients, family members, gift recipients, company offices, hotels, event venues, residences, warehouses, freight facilities, or other approved locations.

Multiple shipping addresses alone do not establish that an order is fraudulent.

High-value or unusual multi-address orders may receive additional verification.

9. Different Billing and Shipping Addresses

GFM VIP Inc. permits legitimate transactions in which the billing address and shipping address are different.

This is common for gifts, business orders, corporate purchases, travel, events, and other transactions.

Significant differences between billing information, shipping information, customer information, payment information, or other transaction details may result in additional verification.

10. International Orders

International orders may involve different billing addresses, shipping addresses, telephone numbers, card issuers, shipping companies, freight forwarders, customs brokers, export agents, or other third parties.

These differences do not automatically indicate fraud.

International transactions may receive additional verification depending on the order value, destination, payment method, shipping arrangement, or other circumstances.

11. International Shipping and Documentation Delays

International orders may take longer to ship than domestic orders because additional shipping, customs, export, carrier, freight, or destination-country documentation may be required before the shipment can leave the United States.

Depending on the transaction, GFM VIP Inc. may need to prepare or verify customs forms, commercial invoices, declared values, product descriptions, country-of-origin information, export documentation, freight paperwork, or other required records.

A carrier, freight forwarder, customs authority, destination country, or other party may also request additional information, corrections, verification, or supporting documents.

A longer-than-expected international processing or shipping timeline does not automatically mean that the order is fraudulent, missing, or improperly handled.

Customers concerned about an international-order delay should contact GFM VIP Inc. for an order-status update.

12. Freight Forwarders and Customer-Selected Shipping Providers

Customers may be permitted to select their own authorized shipping provider.

This may include a trucking company, freight forwarder, courier, shipping company, warehouse, customs broker, export agent, or other logistics provider.

Shipping merchandise to one of these businesses does not automatically indicate fraudulent activity.

GFM VIP Inc. may verify shipping arrangements before releasing high-value merchandise.

13. Changes to Shipping or Delivery Information

Customers may request legitimate changes to an address, recipient, pickup person, freight forwarder, trucking company, courier, warehouse, or other delivery information.

GFM VIP Inc. reserves the right to reverify an order before approving a significant change.

Additional verification may be especially important for large, corporate, custom, international, or high-value orders.

14. Pickup Authorization

When someone other than the purchaser will pick up an order, GFM VIP Inc. may require the purchaser or authorized company representative to identify the person authorized to collect the merchandise.

Additional verification may be required for high-value transactions.

15. Multiple Cards and Split Payments

GFM VIP Inc. may permit an approved order to be paid through multiple transactions or multiple authorized payment cards.

Each transaction may be separately reviewed or verified.

The use of more than one payment card does not automatically indicate fraud.

All payment methods used must be properly authorized.

16. Declined Payment Attempts and Card Limits

A declined transaction does not automatically mean that a customer is committing fraud or that the customer does not have sufficient funds available.

Banks and card issuers may place limits or security controls on a card or account, including daily purchase limits, single-transaction limits, online-purchase restrictions, international restrictions, fraud-prevention blocks, or other authorization requirements.

If a customer knows that sufficient funds are available but the payment is declined, the customer should contact their bank or card issuer and ask whether:

  • The card has a daily purchase limit.
  • The transaction exceeds a single-purchase or per-transaction limit.
  • The bank has temporarily blocked the transaction for fraud prevention.
  • Online, international, or unusually large purchases are restricted.
  • Additional authorization is required for the transaction amount.
  • The bank can approve the transaction or temporarily increase an applicable purchase limit.

GFM VIP Inc. cannot change, remove, or override limits established by a customer’s bank, card issuer, or financial institution.

Customers should generally confirm with their financial institution that the transaction is authorized and permitted before attempting the same payment again.

A payment decline by itself does not automatically indicate fraud. However, repeated payment attempts involving changing identities, unrelated cards, inconsistent information, or other unusual circumstances may result in additional verification or an order hold.

17. Payment Approval and Final Clearance

A payment displaying as approved does not necessarily mean that every bank, card-network, processor, or fraud review has been completed.

GFM VIP Inc. may wait for appropriate payment clearance or verification before beginning certain sourcing, customization, production, supplier purchases, shipping, or other high-value fulfillment activities.

18. Overpayments and Voluntary Tips

Customers should normally pay the amount shown on their invoice, order, or approved payment request.

If GFM VIP Inc. receives more than the amount due, we may contact the customer to determine whether the additional amount was an intentional tip or gratuity or an accidental overpayment.

GFM VIP Inc. will not automatically assume that an unexplained overpayment is a tip.

If the customer confirms that the additional amount was intentionally provided as a tip or gratuity, GFM VIP Inc. may accept it.

If the customer confirms that the amount was paid accidentally, the excess payment will be reviewed according to the applicable refund, payment, gift-card, or store-credit policy.

GFM VIP Inc. will not forward excess customer funds to an unrelated third party.

19. No Third-Party Money Forwarding

GFM VIP Inc. will not accept an intentional overpayment for the purpose of sending the excess funds to another person or company on a customer’s behalf.

We will not use an overpayment to send money to an unrelated shipper, driver, courier, vendor, supplier, employee, assistant, contractor, recipient, bank account, payment account, cryptocurrency wallet, or other third party.

20. Refunds, Gift Cards, and Store Credit

When a refund is permitted, eligible funds may be returned to the original payment method or, when permitted under the applicable policy, issued as a GFM VIP Inc. gift card or store credit.

A valid receipt, invoice, order confirmation, order number, or other verifiable proof of purchase is required before a GFM VIP Inc. gift card or store credit is issued.

GFM VIP Inc. may verify the transaction amount, purchaser, invoice, order history, payment history, or other information before approving a refund or credit.

Altered, fraudulent, duplicated, or unverifiable proof of purchase may be rejected.

A bank or card-network fraud claim may need to be resolved through the applicable financial institution rather than through GFM VIP Inc. store credit.

21. Official Venmo, Cash App, and PayPal Payments

GFM VIP Inc. may accept authorized payments through Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, or other approved payment services.

Our currently published payment identifiers include:

Venmo: @GFMVIPInc
Cash App: $gfmvipinc
PayPal: GFM Vip inc.

Customers should verify payment information against GFM VIP Inc.’s official website, invoice, payment signage, or authorized communication before sending funds.

Cash App may display the GFM VIP Inc. founder’s name, Anzhelika Szramowski, in connection with the authorized $gfmvipinc account. Customers should use the official $Cashtag to verify the account.

22. We Do Not Click Customer-Supplied Payment Links

GFM VIP Inc. verifies incoming payments through our own official accounts, payment processors, banking systems, and authorized platforms.

GFM VIP Inc. will not click an unfamiliar link sent by a customer, unknown person, or third party in order to receive, release, unlock, upgrade, verify, or confirm a payment.

We will not provide banking passwords, PINs, account passwords, security answers, or authentication credentials through a customer-provided payment page.

We will not purchase gift cards, send cryptocurrency, or send money to another account in order to unlock or receive a customer payment.

A screenshot, email, text message, or customer-provided webpage stating that payment was sent does not by itself establish that funds were received or cleared.

23. In-Person Events and Store Purchases

Purchases made at a GFM VIP Inc. store, event, fair, market, pop-up, pickup location, or other in-person sales location may not always contain the customer’s name.

Depending on the transaction, GFM VIP Inc. may only have information such as the date, approximate time, amount, merchandise purchased, payment method, receipt number, or payment-processing record.

Customer information may be available when a credit or debit card provides transaction information, when the customer requests an invoice or named receipt, when information is required for an order or service, or when the customer voluntarily provides it.

Cash transactions and certain other in-person purchases may not contain personally identifying customer information.

The absence of a customer name does not automatically mean that the purchase is fraudulent or improperly documented.

Customers making in-person electronic payments may also be asked to show payment confirmation to a GFM VIP Inc. team member before leaving.

24. Rewards and Loyalty Program

GFM VIP Inc. may offer an optional rewards, loyalty, wishlist, store-credit, or related customer program.

Participation is optional unless a specific future promotion, membership, program, or benefit states otherwise.

The rewards program may be operated or supported by an authorized third-party provider.

Program rules, point earning, redemption, expiration, eligibility, benefits, and account requirements may be established by that provider and may change over time.

Customers should review the current program terms available when enrolling or using the rewards service.

25. Rewards Account Administration

GFM VIP Inc. may have access to certain customer profile and rewards information made available through our commerce and loyalty platforms.

Authorized GFM VIP Inc. personnel may be able to search for a customer profile and administer rewards information, including reviewing or adjusting rewards points when appropriate and permitted by the program.

Participation in the rewards program can make it easier to associate eligible purchases with a customer account.

26. Third-Party Rewards Data Access

An authorized rewards or loyalty provider may receive or access certain information made available through our commerce platform in order to provide its services.

Depending on the platform and features used, this may include a customer’s name, email address, phone number, physical or shipping address, order information, recent order history, store-credit information, company information, IP address, browser information, operating-system information, or geolocation information made available through the platform.

Third-party providers may process information according to their own privacy policies, security practices, and applicable platform requirements.

27. Passwords and Login Credentials

GFM VIP Inc. does not currently have access to a customer’s actual account password through our rewards or commerce systems.

Customers should never provide GFM VIP Inc. with an online-banking password, customer-account password, payment-platform password, PIN, security answer, or other private login credential.

GFM VIP Inc. may have access to certain customer information necessary to operate orders, accounts, rewards, store credit, or customer-service functions, but that does not mean that we can view a customer’s password.

28. Future Rewards, Account, or Security Changes

GFM VIP Inc. reserves the right to change, replace, discontinue, or directly operate its rewards program in the future.

If material changes are planned, GFM VIP Inc. will provide advance notice when reasonably possible through our website, email, customer account, notification, or another appropriate communication method.

Updated terms will state when the changes become effective.

If our account technology, login process, or security practices materially change in the future, applicable policies will also be updated and advance notice will be provided when reasonably possible.

Emergency security changes may sometimes need to be implemented immediately to protect customers or company systems.

29. Customer Verification Communications

When reasonably necessary, GFM VIP Inc. may contact a customer by telephone, email, text message, or another authorized communication method to verify a transaction.

We may ask questions necessary to determine whether an order was authorized.

We will not ask customers to provide passwords or private account-login credentials as part of this verification.

30. Business Verification

For corporate and organizational orders, GFM VIP Inc. may independently verify the business or authorized purchaser.

Verification may involve the company’s official website, publicly listed business telephone numbers, public business records, company email addresses, authorized representatives, or other reasonable verification methods.

GFM VIP Inc. is not required to rely exclusively on contact information supplied by the individual placing the order.

31. Fraud Review Is Not an Accusation

A transaction may receive additional review for many legitimate reasons.

Verification does not automatically mean that GFM VIP Inc. believes the purchaser, cardholder, employee, assistant, company, recipient, or other party is committing fraud.

Our objective is to distinguish legitimate purchases and understandable information differences from genuinely unauthorized transactions.

32. Order Holds

GFM VIP Inc. may temporarily place an order on hold while payment authorization, customer identity, shipping instructions, business authorization, or other transaction information is reviewed.

A security hold may delay sourcing, supplier purchases, customization, personalization, production, floral preparation, shipping, delivery, pickup, concierge services, or other fulfillment.

33. Right to Refuse or Cancel Suspicious Transactions

GFM VIP Inc. reserves the right to decline, suspend, or cancel a transaction when payment or authorization cannot reasonably be verified or when the transaction presents an unacceptable fraud, payment, or security risk.

A cancellation based on inability to verify a transaction does not necessarily mean that GFM VIP Inc. is accusing the customer of criminal conduct.

34. Fraud Claims, Disputes, and Chargebacks

If a customer, cardholder, bank, processor, payment service, or card network opens a fraud claim, dispute, chargeback, retrieval request, or payment investigation, GFM VIP Inc. may provide relevant documentation to the appropriate organization.

Documentation may include invoices, receipts, quotes, signed agreements, order confirmations, customer communications, payment records, shipping records, tracking information, delivery information, pickup documentation, customization approvals, product descriptions, quantities, authorization records, or other relevant transaction documentation.

GFM VIP Inc. will allow the applicable bank, card issuer, payment processor, card network, or payment platform to conduct its own investigation.

All GFM VIP Inc. payment disputes, unauthorized-transaction notices, chargeback questions, and fraud-related transaction concerns should be directed to:

disputes@gfmvipinc.vip

35. Bank, Processor, and Platform Cooperation

Banks, card issuers, card networks, Shopify or Shop-related payment services, Chase or other authorized processors, Uber Eats, Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, and other authorized providers may independently review, delay, restrict, approve, or decline transactions.

Their decisions may affect when GFM VIP Inc. can begin or continue fulfillment.

36. Third-Party Account Compromise

If a customer believes their Shop, Uber Eats, Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, email, company account, payment account, or another third-party account has been compromised, they should contact that provider directly and secure the affected account.

If payment-card or banking information may have been used without authorization, the customer should also contact their financial institution promptly.

37. Record Retention

GFM VIP Inc. may retain relevant transaction and business documentation according to applicable business, security, accounting, legal, and record-retention requirements.

Records may include invoices, receipts, agreements, customer communications, order approvals, payment information available to us, shipping documentation, delivery information, and other records associated with the transaction.

38. Lawful Requests and Investigations

GFM VIP Inc. may cooperate with lawful requests from financial institutions, payment processors, card networks, courts, law-enforcement agencies, government authorities, or other authorized entities when legally required or reasonably necessary to investigate suspected fraud or unauthorized transactions.

39. False or Misleading Fraud Claims

GFM VIP Inc. recognizes that genuine mistakes, forgotten purchases, billing confusion, and actual unauthorized transactions can occur.

However, intentionally providing false information, knowingly placing or authorizing an order and later falsely claiming it was unauthorized, impersonating another individual or company, intentionally using payment information without authorization, or deliberately misusing the dispute process may result in cancellation or refusal of current or future transactions.

Relevant documentation may be provided to the applicable financial institutions, processors, platforms, card networks, or lawful authorities reviewing the matter.

40. Contact Us Before Assuming Fraud

If something about an order, charge, shipment, business name, delivery address, international delay, payment method, or other transaction information looks unfamiliar, customers are welcome to contact GFM VIP Inc. for clarification.

We may be able to identify a legitimate transaction using an invoice number, order number, receipt, transaction date, amount, purchaser information, or other available records.

If you believe your payment information was genuinely used without authorization, contact your bank or payment provider immediately.

For all payment disputes, suspected unauthorized transactions, chargeback questions, or fraud-related transaction concerns, contact:
